Mayor Glenn F. Baricuatro leads the town in commemorating the country's 116 years of independence day . A parade of colors by the Pinamungajan Police Force kicked off the event, followed by a short program with Hon. Julius Erwin T. Alpas, Hon. Manuelito P. Cerna PSINSP Rueben Verbo, Jr. as speakers. The song “Iisa lang ang Ating Lahi” awaken a feeling of patriotism of those attending, which included students and teachers of the Pinamungajan National High School and the Pinamungajan Central School.
